PRISM Show

There are more moves in the shimmy family than just standing on the spot and shakin' what ya mama gave ya! We are going to throw the way we use a workshop space out on it's head and dig into all the goodness that the Salimpour Shimmy Family has to offer. This workshop is truly one where you can work at your level.

And after the workshop is over, stick around for the showcase performance on that night and the rest of the weekend of workshops!

The Newcastle Bellydance Festival returns for 2027!

Amanda will be joining an amazing line up of workshop presenters at the event. Amanda's workshop "Shimmy Stations" will introduce you to all the Salimpour Shimmy Family has to offer.

Worried about getting tired before the dance party that evening? No worries! The Shimmy family might feel like a lot of work, but it also has it's share of more relaxed moves and we'll be working in a way that you can make the choice between throwing everything you've got at the class, or taking it a bit more paced to reserve some energy for the evening entertainment. Either way, you won't be sad you came.

WHEN: Friday March 12th, 2027, Time: 3:15-4:45pm
WHERE: Newcastle Bellydance Festival, Wallsend Diggers, Wallsend (Newcastle), NSW.
COST: From $40 for a single workshop (or purchase a package deal and save!)
